Information we collect

We collect account details, career preferences, welding skills and credentials, profile information, resumes, optional profile photos, application tracking information, test-prep details, billing status, approximate work and travel location preferences, and information you choose to submit through Rig Works, Property Host, Recruiter, or other platform tools.

How we use it

We use information to personalize dashboards, recommend jobs and training, improve test-prep guidance, support resume and profile tools, operate subscriptions, show relevant travel and project information, prevent fraud and abuse, improve platform performance, and provide requested services.

Recruiter Talent Network

Members control whether their professional welding profile is visible in the Talent Network. Recruiter search can include professional details such as display name, general city or region, country, work status, availability, travel preference, welding processes, materials, positions, credentials, industries, years of experience, profile strength, and profile photo where provided.

Personal email addresses, direct phone numbers, home addresses, and private resumes are not included in recruiter search results by default. Recruiter contact begins through a platform opportunity invitation. Direct contact information is released only after the member chooses to accept an opportunity through the platform.

Recruiter and employer information

We collect recruiter and employer account information such as name, company, role, company email, phone, website, location, verification status, saved talent searches, shortlists, and opportunity activity. We use this information to operate and protect the Talent Network, verify access, reduce spam and scraping, and investigate abuse.

Property Host information

Property Hosts may provide contact information, property addresses, listing photos, availability, rates, and amenities. The platform may store a full property address for account and listing operations while presenting only the location details intended for member discovery. Hosts should avoid placing sensitive personal information in public listing descriptions.

Files and media

Files you upload are used to provide the feature you requested. Public-facing profile, instructor, or property media is shown only where the product is designed to display it. Promotional use of member-submitted or tagged media is governed by the media-use license in the Terms & Conditions.

Third parties and service providers

We use service providers to operate the platform, including hosting, authentication, database, communications, analytics where enabled, and payment providers. When you follow a link to an employer, school, retailer, social platform, property host, recruiter, or other third-party site, that service controls its own privacy practices.

Payments

Payment-card information is handled by our payment processor and is not stored directly in our application database.

Security and abuse prevention

We use account controls, database access policies, role restrictions, recruiter verification, rate limits, and other safeguards to reduce unauthorized access, scraping, spam, fraud, and misuse. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

International use

The platform may be accessed from multiple countries. Information may be processed or stored in countries different from where a user lives, subject to the practices of our service providers and applicable law. Country, state, province, or region information may be used to tailor jobs, recruiter searches, travel tools, and project intelligence.

Your choices

You can update your member profile, turn recruiter visibility on or off, change your work status, and may request correction or deletion of account information subject to legal, security, billing, fraud-prevention, and record-retention requirements.
